Possum on a plane: Flight delayed in China after pet breaks loose on board

Passenger held by police after her pet sugar glider, a small possum, escaped into the cabin on a flight from Shanghai, prompting a hunt for the furry fugitive.

Passengers on an Austrian Airlines plane had a lucky escape Sunday, as the airborne jet hit a “thunderstorm cell,” Austrian Airlines said. The plane with 173 passengers and six crew onboard from Palma de Mallorca in Spain to Vienna, Austria landed safely at Vienna thereafter.
